Output subsystem and its pneumatic components: one of the seven major parts of the conventional mode of the hardware structure of the intelligent valve positioner. The output subsystem includes an output interface module and pneumatic components. According to the selection of the pneumatic actuator, confirm whether the pneumatic output of the intelligent valve positioner is single-acting (one output) or double-acting (two positive and negative outputs). Pneumatic components are generally a combination of a pilot part and a power amplifier part. The pilot part, that is, an electrical converter, mainly has two designs: one is based on the pulse digital technology and uses piezoelectric inverse effect materials with asymmetric structure crystals. The piezoelectric valve technology accepts digital Signal (electrical pulse) two-position action pneumatic output; one is based on the electromagnetic principle of traditional analog technology and the I/P converter technology of the pneumatic nozzle/baffle mechanism, accepting the analog electric signal for continuous action pneumatic output. Power amplifier output stages such as pneumatic amplifiers or pneumatic spool valves are used after these two pilot parts. For springless cylinder type actuators that require two outputs, generally, a pneumatic reverse power amplifier or a pneumatic reverse amplifier is added to the physical structure. When the actuator is in a balanced position, the theoretical forward output air pressure and reverse output air pressure are the same. Equal and opposite directions, the size of the driving force is related to the air source pressure, the effective area of the cylinder (piston) and the balance pressure. Most intelligent valve positioner products have reverse pneumatic output as an option, or add a set of piezoelectric valve components or built-in/external pneumatic reverse amplifier.
